In 2006, fraternity brothers Ken Pauling and Carl Houston decided to break away from the team they were coaching to establish their own. The two of them are members of the Abington-Ambler Alumni Chapter of the fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi. Since the team’s inception, their accolades & accomplishments grow each year. They each along with additional coaches: Leo Cheaton, Vance Lofton, Bruce Sobers, Chris Nelson, Clarence Lewis & Glenice Wescott consistently push the athletes to achieve better results each year.
There are two branches of the team, one is located in the Philadelphia, PA area and the other in the Wilmington, DE surrounding areas. They practice separately but compete collectively as a team together at each meet.

OUR VISION
OUR MISSION
About us
The Kappa Diamond Dashers Youth Track Team is a youth track and field organization that is available for boys and girls 6 to 18 years old. They participate in a series of developmental meets that are hosted by the United Age Group Track Coaches Association (UAGTCA), USA Track & Field (USATF) and AAU (Amatuer Athletic Union).
Boys and girls will be evaluated in running (sprints & distance) and throwing & jumping. They will be trained in certain areas based on their evaluation performance. Track and field is much more than who is the fastest runner. Come and join us as we not only coach you but educate you on how to be a better track participant and an all-around athlete.

This website is facilitated by the Kappa Diamond Dashers Parent Association.
